About
Hi, I am Chloe Zhao. I am currently an undergraduate student in the School of Visual Arts. My major in SVA is illustration. I mainly do children’s books illustations, book covers, and surface designs. My work explores visual storytelling through scenes, textures, and cute elements. I’m particularly interested in creating images that feel immersive and emotionally resonant, where quiet details and imaginative environments invite viewers into a dreamlike world.
Much of my inspiration comes from nature, books, and fleeting moments of everyday life. I enjoy translating these inspirations into illustrations. Through layered compositions and the use of color and light, I aim to create visual narratives that evoke curiosity, introspection, and wonder.
